William Clifford Riggs, 92 of Ooltewah Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. He was a member of Bayside Baptist Church. William Graduated from Ooltewah High School. He was a Navy Veteran and proud of it. William worked for Farmer Chemicals and retired from Cutter Laboratories in Chattanooga. His hobby was golf until the age of 82.

William was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Inez Riggs, his sister, June Reeves, Freida Brooks and Yvonne Oliver.



He is survived by his daughter, Renee Teague (Kenneth), Roxanne Miles, his sister, Gloria Johnson, grandchildren, Stacie Teague Smith, Bridget Teague Johnston and Rachael Scarbrough, great-grandchildren, Cody Johnston, Brodie Johnston, Brinley Green, Fisher Smith, Sullivan Smith, Reef Smith, Wilder Smith, Knox Scarbrough and Keaton Howell.

Burial service will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery October 23, 2026 at 2:30pm.
