Zane was the beloved son of Lisa Orme and Tony Madewell and a deeply cherished brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He is survived by his siblings Kierstin Madewell, Micah Madewell (wife Lauryn), and Chloe Madewell; his nephew Ethan and niece Everleigh, who brought him great joy. His maternal grandparents Jack and Barbara Isaacson; his Aunt Janna, cousins Gabriel and Grayson Gillard. His paternal grandmother Evelyn Madewell, his Aunt Amy and Uncle Joey, cousins Bryce, Sidney and Baylee. He was preceded in death by his Uncle Matt and paternal grandfather, Carson Madewell. 

Zane will be remembered for his sweet sensitivity and grace-giving kindness. As a deep thinker and natural philosophizer, he reflected on life and the world around him. He enjoyed peace and freedom in the outdoors and loved hiking and skateboarding. Zane also formed meaningful connections with his friends and coworkers who will miss him tremendously. The family is grateful for those who spoke life into him and gave him love and support for many years.

A memorial service honoring Zane’s life will be held Saturday, December 20 from 2- 4PM, upstairs at 8705 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421. 

Though Zane’s life was far too short, the impact he made will endure. He will be remembered for his kind heart and the quiet depth with which he moved through the world. He will forever remain loved and deeply missed.
