Thelma Diane Humphreys, age 72, of Apison, Tennessee, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

Thelma was preceded in death by her beloved husband of many years, Richard "Peanut" Humphreys, as well as her parents and her brother. A proud graduate of Tyner High School, Thelma dedicated her life to nurturing her family and pursuing her passions. She found great joy in crocheting, tending to her plants, and spending cherished moments with her loved ones. Thelma's gentle spirit, creativity, and unwavering devotion to those around her will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her legacy endures in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever remember her for her warmth, kindness, and the abundant love she shared throughout her life.

Survivors include her son, Tony (Ilene) Spradley of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her stepchildren, Richard Humphreys Jr (Lori) and Vicky; as well as her sisters, Brenda "Sis" Holsomback and Juanita "Bunny" Bryant.

In accordance with Thelma's wishes, no services will be held at this time.
