Dennis L Lennon, “Den”, “PaPa Den” went home to be with the Lord last night at the age of 85. He died in his home in Ringgold GA. He died in his sleep after a battle with kidney failure.

Dennis was born June 11, 1941 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, a son to the late JP and Maxine Lennon.

He lived most of his early life in Miami Fla and then moved to Colorado and then in areas around or near Chattanooga TN. Dennis was always a hard worker and provided well for his family. He loved old cars and traveling the country. One of his favorite places was the island of Kauai, Ha. For many years he and his wife travelled the country in a fifth wheel trailer and experienced many beautiful sights together.

Dennis is best remembered for his endurance, steadfastness, humor and a great love of God. We know he is in a wonderful place now, free from any pain and suffering.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Pat and Mike and granddaughter, Brandy.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Dolores, brother, Timothy Lennon of Ocala Fla, sister, Leanne and children, Lynn Olson of Whitwell TN, Vicki Norman of Whitwell TN, Cheryl Hunter of Ringgold GA and Denny Lennon Jr of Chattanooga TN. He has also left behind 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren with another on the way along with other family and friends who will miss him. The kids will always remember how funny PaPa Den could be!



A Celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date.
