Nancy Lochridge Morrow

Nancy Lochridge Morrow, born on June 8, 1945, in Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was 80 years old.

 

Nancy dedicated much of her life to education as a long-time faculty member at David Lipscomb Elementary School. Her commitment to nurturing young minds left a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues throughout her career.

 

In addition to her professional accomplishments and devotion to family, Nancy found happiness in simple pleasures. She enjoyed walking, traveling to new places, painting and spending time working on her backyard pond—a space she lovingly tended to over the years.

 

Nancy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Larry Morrow, and her son, Brian Gentry. She is survived by her daughter, Dana Hall and son-in-law Kevin Hall; her cherished grandchildren, Kendall Hall and Grayson Hall; and her granddaughter-in-law Amberlee Hall. Nancy’s family brought her immense joy and were a source of pride throughout her life.

 

Nancy’s memory will be treasured by those who knew her. May the legacy of her kindness and dedication bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Crieve Hall Church of Christ, 4806 Trousdale Dr, Nashville, TN 37220
