Linda Roberts Moore passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born on October 6, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, Linda spent her childhood growing up in nearby Wheaton, where she developed the strong values, a sense of humor, and warmth that would define her throughout her life. She graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Medical Technology.

Linda began her career at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago as a Lab Tech and later worked at Oak Ridge Associated Universities in cytogenetics research. She took great pride in contributing to work that helped improve the lives of others.

She found joy in life's everyday pleasures. Linda loved movies and building her collection of antiques, pieces of copper, and paperweights. Whether enjoying a favorite film, discovering a hidden treasure at an antique shop, or sharing stories over a meal, she had a gift for making ordinary moments special.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents John K.D. Roberts and Louise Tay Roberts.

She is survived by her children, Julie Mitchell of Ooltewah, Tennessee, and Larry (Carrie) Dry of Downers Grove, Illinois, and her four grandchildren Sara and Emma Mitchell and Alison and Lauren Dry. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
