On Saturday, July 18th, Helen Killebrew passed away after a short battle with cancer. She had turned 62 just 10 days prior to passing. Throughout her life, she resided in Lookout Valley, Chattanooga, and spent her last days in Rossville. 

All of her kids have never met a stranger, and without question, she took every single friend of theirs in and treated them as if they were her own. She had far more than just her biological children call her “mom” and she lived up to the title. She had a positive impact on so many and spread love constantly. 

Helen is preceded in death by her parents John and Voula Nicolou. 

She is survived by her partner, Jason Cordell, kids, Laurel Cruse, Cody (Anne) Cruse, and Yanni Killebrew, and her wiry dog, Rebel, who all loved her dearly. 

 A celebration of life will be held at One Accord Community Church, 343 Sweetland Dr Chattanooga TN 37415 on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 6:00 pm.
